Install the Databank

The Tactical 40k is an installable web app. Put it on your phone or tablet's Home Screen and it launches full-screen from its own icon — no app store, no browser bar, no account needed.

What installing gives you

Android · Chrome

Install on Android

Open this site in Chrome, then add it from the browser menu.

Open tactical40k.com in Chrome (other Android browsers vary; Chrome is the most reliable).
Tap the three-dot menu ⋮ at the top right.
Choose Install app. If you don't see it, look for Add to Home screen instead.
Confirm the prompt — the 40k Databank icon appears on your Home Screen.

Good to know

Sometimes Chrome shows an Install app banner at the bottom of the page — tap that and skip the menu.
Long-press the Home Screen icon for the quick shortcuts.

iPhone & iPad · Safari

Install on iPhone or iPad

On iOS, Add to Home Screen lives in Safari's Share menu — Chrome doesn't offer it there.

Open tactical40k.com in Safari (not Chrome or another browser).
Tap the Share button — the square with an arrow pointing up.
Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
Tap Add in the top right. The 40k Databank icon lands on your Home Screen.

Good to know

If Share is greyed out, make sure the page has finished loading first.
The app opens full-screen with no browser bar, just like a store app.

Troubleshooting

No install option? On Android use Chrome; on iPhone or iPad use Safari. On desktop, Chrome and Edge show an install icon in the address bar.
App acting strange? Open any page with ?sw=off added to the address once to reset the offline copy, then remove it.
Icon missing after an update? Remove it from the Home Screen and install it again from the site.
