Step 01

Tactical Faction Databank — Home

The landing page. Pick up where you left off, follow the four-step Start Here flow, browse every faction codex and preview each faction's visual skin.

How to use it

1. Check Continue where you left off to jump straight back into your last list or battle.
2. Follow the Start Here steps — read a codex, build a list, fight the battle, keep the record.
3. Use the search field to filter factions by name, subtitle or motto.
4. Use the category buttons (All / Imperium / Chaos / Xenos) to narrow the grid.
5. Pick a faction in the Skin preview selector to see its plate texture and accent colour — previews are never saved.
6. Press Grimdark to return to the baseline skin.
7. Click any faction card to open its full codex page.

Good to know

• The Log in / Account button sits in the top right of the page.
• The whole site installs to a phone or tablet as an app — use your browser's Add to Home Screen / Install option.

Step 02

Neophyte Primer — How to Guide

This page — an operator manual covering every page in the site index, in the same order.

How to use it

1. Use the search box to filter instructions by page name, step or tip.
2. Jump to any section from the Contents list.
3. Use the Open button at the end of each section to go straight to that page.

Step 03

Lexicanum — 11th Edition Rules

A searchable index of the 11th edition core rules plus every faction army rule, detachment, enhancement and stratagem in the databank.

How to use it

1. Type into the search box to match rule titles, body text, references and tags.
2. Switch between the Core rules and Faction rules tabs.
3. Filter faction results by entry kind (Army Rule, Detachment, Enhancement, Stratagem, Ability) or by a single faction.
4. Toggle the 11th edition filter to show only rules new or changed in 11th.
5. Read the citation breadcrumbs under each result to see exactly which section it came from.

Good to know

• Rule reference links in the Battle Calculator jump straight into the matching section here with the search pre-filled.

Step 04

Codex Archive — Every Faction

The index of all 40 faction codices, searchable by name and filterable by allegiance. Every faction has a full codex page with its army rule, detachments, enhancements, stratagems and complete datasheet roster.

How to use it

1. Search by faction name, or filter by Imperium, Chaos or Xenos — the filter stays in the page link so you can share it.
2. Open a codex to read How This Force Plays, its detachments, enhancements and stratagems.
3. Scroll to the Unit profiles section and search or click any unit to open its full datasheet card.
4. Follow the official pack link on each codex to Games Workshop's own PDF for that faction.
5. Use the codex page's Army List Editor to build, save and load lists without leaving the page.
6. Use the Build list, Take it to battle and What changed links at the foot of a codex to carry on.

Good to know

• Each codex page wears its faction's visual identity — use the skin preview to compare.
• Rule summaries are written in our own words; the official pack link is always there for the exact wording.

Step 05

Rulebook — 11th Edition

A quick-reference rulebook: the battle round, phases, command points, shooting and combat, plus the common tables and terms.

How to use it

1. Search the rulebook to find a section fast.
2. Read the phase-by-phase walkthrough in play order.
3. Check the quick-reference tables for to-hit, to-wound, cover and morale.
4. Follow the official rulebook link for the full published wording.

Good to know

• The same walkthrough is built into the Live Game tab so you can read it mid-game without leaving the tracker.

Step 06

Codex Comparison

Compare two factions side by side — detachments, enhancements, stratagems, datasheet counts and points spread.

How to use it

1. Choose a faction for each side; each panel wears that faction's colours.
2. Scan the aligned rows for detachments, stratagems and points statistics.
3. Copy the page link to share the exact comparison you are looking at.

Step 07

Lexicon — Glossary

A searchable glossary of 11th edition terms with in-universe definitions, linked from the codex archive and codex pages.

How to use it

1. Type a term to search titles and definitions.
2. Filter by category to focus on one area of the rules.
3. Follow links from codex pages to look up unfamiliar terms.

Step 08

Change Record — 11th Edition

What changed between editions and pack updates: units, keywords, points and rules, with the pack version and date behind each change.

How to use it

1. Search or filter by faction and change type.
2. Read the pack version and legal-from date on each entry.
3. Check the coverage note where a faction has no published pack yet.
4. Follow a change back to that faction's codex page.

Step 09

Order of Battle — Builder

Build a legal army for a chosen faction against a 500, 1000, 1500 or 2000 point ceiling, with live legality checking.

How to use it

1. Choose a faction — the army name updates automatically to match (e.g. "Orks Order of Battle") — then a detachment, then your game size: 500, 1000, 1500 or 2000 points.
2. Use Select recommendation to have the app draft a tactical roster for that faction and size — the page scrolls straight to the suggested roster.
3. Browse the full datasheet catalogue, expanding and collapsing cards as you work down the list, or use Expand all / Collapse all.
4. Press a unit's points check to see your current and projected totals, the percentage of your ceiling used, and what is left before you add it.
5. If a pick breaks a codex or core rule, a pop-up explains the problem and lets you cancel the selection or add it anyway.
6. Watch the rolling total and the legality panel — it rechecks itself automatically as you change units, detachments and enhancements, and flags anything unverified.
7. Save the list to your account if you're signed in, then reopen it any time from your saved lists.
8. Export a list as a printable PDF or shareable text — both include a points breakdown — or create a public share link anyone can view without signing in.

Good to know

• Recommendations use everything the app knows about the faction — army rule, detachment and unit roles — to propose a balanced list.
• Saved lists stay attached to your account, so you see your rosters after signing back in; edits made with no signal are queued and sync when you reconnect.
• A few enhancement costs are published only in Games Workshop's own app — those lists show as Legal with unverified entries rather than guessing a cost.

Step 10

Saved Lists, Tracker & Favourites

Your list gallery: browse everything you've saved, preview a full army, compare a list against official points, and keep your favourite factions and collections.

How to use it

1. Filter your saved lists by faction, points size or name, and sort them.
2. Open a list preview to see the full army with role icons, options, enhancements, Warlord and a points breakdown.
3. Use quick edit to jump back into the builder, or export a PDF or copy the list as text.
4. Use the list tracker to compare a saved list against official points and see missing units, detachments or enhancements.
5. Manage favourite factions and group them into named collections — a shortlist, a painting queue, a tournament pool.

• Sign in to keep lists, favourites and collections across devices.

Step 11

Theatre of War — Game, Calculator & Ledger

Everything for game day in one place: army setup and the live game, the battle calculator, your campaign ledger, tournaments, a calendar and the offline sync view.

How to use it

1. Live game: set the game size (500 / 1000 / 1500 / 2000), pick each player's faction and detachment, and upload or paste both rosters — text, JSON and PDF files are all read.
2. Each player then chooses their own Force Disposition; choosing a detachment suggests one for you, and the paired primary mission for each side appears straight away in setup and in the mission panel.
3. Work through the pre-battle checklist, then set deployment, pick two fixed secondary cards each, and draw two tactical cards in every Command phase.
4. Use the objective board, terrain editor, measurement and line-of-sight helpers, and the dice roller as you play.
5. Open the built-in rulebook panel for the phase you're in without leaving the game.
6. Record victory points per round — up to 15 a round, scoring out of primary 45, secondary 45 and army bonus 10 for a 100 point game — and add turn-by-turn notes; the session autosaves and can be restored in one click.
7. Battle calculator: set a points-to-win target, build attack profiles and read the expected-damage tables and phase report; export a PDF or the weapon log as CSV.
8. Campaign ledger: log each battle's points, rounds, victory points, result and win type, attach a saved list, and watch your win rate build.
9. Tournament: create an event, add or invite players, set each player's Force Disposition, generate pairings, enter results and read live standings — results can be pulled from the ledger.
10. Under the standings you also get the detail view: every player's Disposition, the paired primary mission they scored each round, victory points for and against, the result, and the event's missions ranked hardest first.
11. Calendar: schedule games, tournaments, practice and painting sessions, then export to Google Calendar or download an iCal file.
12. Offline sync: see what is saved to your account, what is waiting to sync and what lives only on this device, and press Sync now to close the gap.
13. Switch on the Weekly muster report in the offline sync view to get a Monday email with your ledger, standings, record and sync gaps.
14. Export the session as a PDF, a share link or a JSON backup — and re-import the JSON later.

Good to know

• Store the pages for offline reading before you travel and the whole board keeps working with no signal.
• Tournaments and fixtures are kept on your device — press Include this device after an event so its standings ride along in the weekly email.
• Your long-term tier record lives on the Tier record page, reachable from the tabs at the top.

Step 12

Tournament Planner — Offline

A standalone planner that loads fixtures, standings and results from your device alone — no sign-in and no internet needed.

How to use it

1. Pick the event you are running.
2. Generate the next round's pairings.
3. Enter victory points for each game as they finish.
4. Read the live standings, plus the detail view showing each player's Force Disposition, their paired mission per round, victory points and how hard each mission proved to score; everything survives a refresh.
5. Use the offline backup file to carry an event to another device.

Good to know

• Built for a tournament hall with no reception — it never waits on the network.

Step 13

Servitor Settings — Account & Sign In

Create an account or sign in, and manage your details and stored data. Guest play works without an account and merges in when you sign in.

How to use it

1. Create an account with an email and password, or sign in with Google or Apple.
2. Use the password reset link if you cannot sign in.
3. Update your email address or change your password.
4. Delete your account with Purge record — a confirmation step lists exactly what will be removed.
5. Use the logout button to clear your session and return to guest mode.

Good to know

• Lists you build as a guest are carried into your account the first time you sign in.
