Born of the Age of Apostasy and tempered in ten thousand years of holy war, the Adepta Sororitas are the armed fist of the Ecclesiarchy, marching to battle beneath billowing banners and hymns of retribution. Every Battle Sister has sworn oaths of undying faith, and it is that faith — not mere technology — which powers many of their sacred relics and lets them shrug off wounds that would fell lesser warriors. Led by Canonesses and accompanied by Living Saints and relic-bearing Palatines, the Orders Militant burn heretics, purge mutants, and exterminate xenos with equal fervour, their bolters singing hymns of judgement as promethium fire cleanses the unworthy.

Acts of Faith

Once per turn, when a friendly ADEPTA SORORITAS unit is selected to shoot, fight, or is targeted with an attack, you can perform a Miracle by spending Faith points, granting effects such as re-rolling failed hit rolls, ignoring wounds, or gaining an invulnerable save. Your army generates Faith points each Command phase based on units destroyed and objectives held.

Litanies of Faith

Many ADEPTA SORORITAS Characters can intone a Litany at the start of the Fight phase, granting a buff such as Hit or Wound re-rolls to friendly ADEPTA SORORITAS units within 6".

Bringers of Flame

Zealous Fervour

Each time a model in this detachment makes an attack with a flame or melta weapon, an unmodified Wound roll of 6 inflicts a Mortal Wound in addition to normal damage. Units can also embark upon Immolators and other Rhino-chassis transports to disgorge into rapid assaults.
